The French artist and designer Aurelie Hoegy created sculptural seating pieces that are crafted from rattan. The rattan is a completely ecological natural fibers guaranteed with no chemical treatment during the process. The rattan fibers need to pass many stages of processing before they are ready to use like rubbing, fumigation, oil curing, bleaching, washing and polishing. Aurelie’s work gives another dimension to this traditional material.
