Ying Gao new collection “2526” combine technology and fashion. real robotic clothes with virtual appearances. “2526” refers to the 2,526 hours that the designer spent creating the collection. The designer describes his designs as “polymorphic” . NFTs and the Metaverse were the main inspiration sources for this project. The 2 polymorphic outfits are very authentic. They are pulsating and twisting like floral beings. The garments combine glass, precious metal and silicone into a polymorphic material that simulates the effects of virtual clothing. They are also made from woven, hand-screened and unified materials to illustrate that physical-digital fusion.
