Renaud Defrancesco Studio’s Briket stool exemplifies experimental and virtuous furniture design, repurposing sawdust and potato waste. The nine-legged stool, free from chemical additives and metal components, is fully recyclable through combustion for heating. Created with about thirty tests to ensure strength, the stool is manufactured by compressing wood waste and potatoes. This innovative piece can be produced directly where wood waste is abundant, such as sawmills and carpentry shops. The Briket stool highlights the importance of minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency.
