The VEIL table, created by design studio BUDDE and aluminum expert BWB, showcases the richness of aluminum. Its standout feature is the “tablecloth,” an anodized aluminum sheet, hand-painted by Johannes Budde using unique BWB techniques. This process, called anodizing, protects the aluminum from corrosion, increases surface hardness, and reduces friction. The tablecloth, slightly rotated on the table top, gives the piece a playful, artistic look. This durable and visually striking design blends artistic creativity with practical engineering.
