Rootfull develops a bio-fabricated textile grown from wheatgrass roots that naturally interlock into a cohesive, fibre-like material.The roots are guided through moulds or templates, allowing their growth to define the material’s density, texture, and pattern. Production relies on a low-impact growing process (around 10–12 days) where the structure self-weaves without stitching or synthetic binders.Using only seeds, water, and reusable inputs, the system is circular, producing a biodegradable material with minimal waste.
