DATEFORM is a UAE based startup focused on sustainable material innovation, transforming discarded date seeds into high-quality solid surface bio-composites. In the UAE alone, more than 108,000 tons of date seeds are wasted annually. Through two years of research and extensive material testing, DATEFORM developed a unique range of solid surfaces available in five finishes, each highlighting different textures and tones created from crushed, roasted, or whole date seeds.
Proudly manufactured in the Emirates, DATEFORM converts agricultural waste into functional and visually distinctive materials that can be integrated into interiors and architectural applications. Their bio-composite surfaces are suitable for countertops, flooring and tiles, wall panels, shelving, furniture, and other custom installations.
Beyond flat surfaces, the material can also be molded into complex forms to meet bespoke design requirements. By sourcing date seeds locally from farms and factories, DATEFORM not only reduces landfill waste but also contributes to the local economy and promotes a more circular approach to material production.
